There was a time when Giant Bugs ruled the local Bijou. As seen in an earlier post, we had Giant Grasshoppers in BEGINNING OF THE END. Here we have a HUGE Preying Mantis. This film has the absolute most BORINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG first 20 minutes you could possibly imagine. The opening 1/4 of the film takes a promotional like intro to the wonders of our Airforce and their work in Alaska. Universal did not stop to think, with a poster like this, we want to see a GIANT BUG ON THE LOOSE! And we want to see it quickly!
