The synopsis for this little gem says: A young girl is being tried for murder. Her defense attorney attempts to show how her descent into a life of crime, prostitution and degradation was caused by her puritanical, religious fanatic mother. Sounds like a re-make is in order!

There seems to be a whole subgenre of these "I Accuse My Parents" type films including, aptly enough, I ACCUSE MY PARENTS (PRC, 1944), in which a kid's drunk folks are the core of his downfall.
